Site launch
This site is live. Marketing/docs for Vigil under studioholst.com/vigil. The /news feed mirrors CHANGELOG.md going forward.
This is the first post.
The Vigil project at github.com/aoi410t/Vigil
has been in active development for a few weeks and is now post-1.0.0
(currently at v1.17.1). The marketing/docs site you're reading lives
at studioholst.com/vigil and mirrors the project's CHANGELOG.md as
the running news feed — every version bump in the repo becomes a post
here automatically.
What's on the site
- A landing page with the elevator pitch and what Vigil does at a glance.
- An about page that gets into why the project exists.
- Docs, rendered from the project's README — this is where you go to set up Vigil yourself.
- This news feed.
- Standard legal placeholders.
- A contact page.
What's still TBD
- Visual design. The aesthetic right now is minimal Tailwind defaults. Vigil may end up with its own visual identity, or it may inherit Studio Holst's quiet-minimalism palette — that decision hasn't been made yet.
- Live demo link. Vigil is currently self-hosted only. If a hosted instance lands, this site will link to it.
- Per-user accounts. The Vigil tool itself is moving toward a consumer-side model (per-user login, invite codes, per-static FFLogs OAuth). That work is in the IDEAS backlog and will surface here as it ships.
For the running technical log, the project's PROGRESS.md is the source of truth.
